Afghanistan, May 22 -- The Afghan-German Cooperation will invest 264 million Afghanis in support of the renewal energy policy of the Afghan government.

An agreement was signed in this regard between Afghan and German officials representing the Afghan Ministry of Energy and Water (MEW) and the Afghan-German Cooperation's Energy Sector Improvement Programme (ESIP) with an aim to facilitate the implementation of the government's renewable energy policy.

The Afghan-German Cooperation will invest about AFN 264 million until end of 2019, the Afghan-German Cooperation said in a statement.
