Afghanistan, Dec. 3 -- Germany has relocated nearly 200 Afghan refugees from Pakistan on a charter flight, prioritizing individuals who previously worked with German forces in Afghanistan.

Germany has relocated 192 Afghan nationals from Islamabad on a chartered evacuation flight, its Interior Ministry confirmed on Wednesday.

Officials said the group, many of whom previously worked with German armed forces in Afghanistan, will first be processed at the Friedland transit centre before being resettled across various German states. Several passengers had been stuck in Pakistan for months, and some for more than a year, waiting for clearance.
