Afghanistan, Dec. 15 -- Germany has pledged more than $2 million in humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan, aiming to support vulnerable families facing winter hardships, displacement pressures, and economic crisis.
On Monday, December 15, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said Germany has contributed two million euros to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund to meet urgent needs.
OCHA said the funding will be used to provide food, healthcare and other essential services to vulnerable families affected by conflict, economic hardship and natural disasters.
