Afghanistan, Nov. 6 -- Germany has offered cash incentives to hundreds of Afghans stranded in Pakistan, encouraging them to withdraw from its relocation program in exchange for financial aid and basic assistance.

Germany's Interior Ministry has introduced a plan offering cash payments and basic assistance to Afghans who voluntarily withdraw from their relocation to Germany, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

According to reports by Bild and Die Welt newspapers, the scheme provides up to €6,500 for single applicants and €10,000 for families, as outlined in documents issued by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of the Interior Ministry.
