Afghanistan, Feb. 1 -- On Friday, the German parliament voted against the controversial immigration bill proposed by the opposition. The bill, introduced by the conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and Christian Social Union (CSU), was supported by the far-right party.
The bill was rejected by the Bundestag with 350 votes against and 338 votes in favor. The proposal faced fierce opposition from the Social Democratic Party (SPD), the Greens, and the Left, leading to widespread protests across Germany in recent days.
