Afghanistan, Aug. 15 -- Gaza's Health Ministry reports 239 deaths from famine and crisis, as Israeli strikes kill 23 more, amid UN warnings of collapsing health services and mass civilian suffering.
The Health Ministry in Gaza reports that 239 Palestinians, including 106 children, have died as famine and the deepening humanitarian crisis grip the territory.
According to Al Jazeera, at least 23 more Palestinians, among them 10 people seeking aid, were killed at dawn on Thursday, August 14, in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City and a humanitarian aid center near southern Rafah.
The network described much of northern Gaza as "lifeless wastelands" after months of bombardment, mass displacement, and the collapse of basic services.
