Afghanistan, July 25 -- French President Macron announced France will recognize an independent Palestinian state, urging peace through ceasefire, humanitarian aid, and mutual recognition with Israel.

Speaking on Friday, July 25, Macron stated that a lasting peace in the Middle East requires an end to the war in Gaza, the protection of civilians, and the creation of two sovereign states-Palestine and Israel.

Macron asserted that peace is possible, but only if an immediate ceasefire is achieved, all hostages are released, large-scale humanitarian aid reaches Gaza, and Hamas is disarmed.
