Afghanistan, Dec. 6 -- Four Afghan citizens were executed in Iran last month, underscoring increasing dangers for refugees amid harsh enforcement and worsening human rights conditions.

Human rights organizations in Iran have reported a sharp increase in executions over the past month, with at least 152 people, including four Afghan nationals, put to death during November.

Among those executed were four women, highlighting ongoing concerns over Iran's use of the death penalty and the targeting of vulnerable groups within the country.
