Afghanistan, April 30 -- Abdulrahman Waziri, a former Afghan soldier and U.S. ally, was fatally shot in Houston following a parking dispute.

Abdulrahman Waziri, a 31-year-old former Afghan soldier and U.S. military ally, was shot and killed on Sunday, April 27, in Houston, Texas, following a verbal altercation. The incident occurred outside the Gables apartment complex in Richmond, a suburb of Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, Waziri had parked his vehicle in front of the mailboxes when a dispute arose with another driver. The altercation quickly escalated, and the other individual opened fire, shooting Waziri multiple times and killing him at the scene.
