Afghanistan, Feb. 26 -- The head of the Taliban's Information and Culture Department in Helmand says that as a result of heavy rainfall and flooding in the districts of Sangin, Musa Qala, and Babaji, five people, including women and children, have lost their lives, and six others have been injured.
Hafiz Abdulbari Rashid, the head of the Information and Culture Department in Helmand, told the media on Wednesday, February 26, that in the Shahzada area of Sangin district, the roof of a house collapsed due to the flood, killing two children.
According to him, in the Gereshk district, a lightning strike hit a house, leaving six people injured. He also added that in the Musa Qala district, three more people died as a result of the floods.
