Afghanistan, May 12 -- Following the recent floods in Baghlan province, the Ministry of Refugee Affairs has published statistics showing that 315 people have died and another 1,630 have been injured as a result of the deadly floods in Baghlan province.

The Ministry of Refugee Affairs wrote on its social media platform X on Sunday, May 12, that the floods have killed 315 people and injured 1,630 in the villages of Sheikh Jalal and the Salh township of Central Baghlan district and Sharshar of the Barkeh district.

According to the ministry's statement, a total of 2,665 residential houses have been partially or completely destroyed.
