Afghanistan, Sept. 17 -- Fiber-optic internet services have been suspended in Badakhshan, disrupting connectivity in Faizabad and nearby districts, as part of broader restrictions affecting multiple Afghanistan provinces.

Fiber-optic internet services have been cut in Badakhshan province, including the capital Faizabad and surrounding districts, local sources confirmed on Wednesday, Septermber 17.

The disruption has also extended to the neighboring provinces of Kunduz and Takhar, where residents reported losing access to Wi-Fi and struggling to maintain communication.
