Afghanistan, Nov. 8 -- A French far-right activist has been charged with inciting racial hatred after posting an anti-Afghan video on TikTok that went viral.

French prosecutors said on Tuesday that Jean-Audes Gannat, a far-right activist and former leader of the identity group Aurelien, faces prosecution for promoting hate speech against Afghan refugees.

According to Le Monde and AFP, the 31-year-old posted a 24-second TikTok video showing a group of Afghans outside a supermarket in the western village of Segre, captioned "Tired of living with the Taliban's cousins."
