Afghanistan, Oct. 15 -- Explosions rocked Kabul on Wednesday evening as residents reported two powerful blasts shaking multiple districts of the Afghanistan capital, amid drone activity and cross-border tension with Pakistan.

Two back-to-back explosions were reported in Kabul on Wednesday evening, according to local residents who said the blasts shook parts of the capital.

Witnesses told reporters the first explosion occurred in Police District 15, in the Sarak-e-Panj Taimani area, followed by another blast heard across several neighborhoods of the city.
