Afghanistan, Feb. 24 -- Media outlets, citing French officials, reported an explosion at the Russian consulate in Marseille. The explosion caused no casualties, and the area has been cordoned off by the police as investigations are underway.

Stanislav Oransky, the Russian consul in Marseille, confirmed that three homemade bombs were thrown at the consulate building. Despite the attack, no consulate staff were injured.
