Afghanistan, Dec. 2 -- European officials warn that emerging peace proposals risk pressuring Ukraine into concessions, raising concerns that ongoing negotiations may create an unequal and unsustainable settlement.

European leaders are warning that ongoing peace efforts risk placing disproportionate pressure on Ukraine while Moscow continues its military aggression and shows little willingness to compromise. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said in Brussels that current discussions appear to demand concessions from Ukraine while none are being required from the opposing side.
