Afghanistan, Dec. 15 -- The European Union has launched a €5 million programme with the IFC to support Afghanistan's private sector and expand economic opportunities for vulnerable groups.
The European Union has launched a five-million-euro programme in Afghanistan in partnership with the International Finance Corporation to support the country's fragile private sector.
In a statement released on Monday, the EU said the 42-month initiative will focus on improving the business environment, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and creating sustainable jobs.
