Afghanistan, Oct. 22 -- The European Union has provided an additional €1 million to the World Health Organization to strengthen emergency healthcare, maternal care, and disease prevention efforts across Afghanistan.
The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the European Union has contributed an additional €1 million to support critical healthcare operations in Afghanistan, where millions face a worsening humanitarian crisis.
With this new funding, total EU assistance to WHO since May has reached €7 million, aimed at expanding emergency medical responses and lifesaving health services across the country.
