Afghanistan, Nov. 9 -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged Pakistan and Afghanistan to pursue lasting peace and stability amid rising border tensions and failed talks.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called for sustained efforts to ensure a lasting ceasefire and regional stability between Pakistan and Afghanistan, as both countries face renewed security challenges along their shared border.
According to Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency, Erdogan made the remarks during a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Baku on Saturday. He said Turkey continues to closely monitor terrorist attacks in Pakistan and the growing tension between Islamabad and the Taliban authorities in Kabul.
