Afghanistan, Aug. 28 -- At least 13 civilians, including children and women, were killed or injured in overnight drone strikes in Afghanistan's Nangarhar and Khost provinces, intensifying regional tensions.
At least five civilians, including four children and a woman, were injured when a drone strike hit a residential home in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, local officials confirmed Thursday. The attack took place late Wednesday night in the "28th MaWeala" area of Shinwar district.
