Afghanistan, Nov. 6 -- Doctors Without Borders has deployed emergency medical teams to northern Afghanistan's Samangan province after a 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck, injuring dozens and destroying homes across several villages.
Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres) has dispatched medical teams to quake-hit areas of Samangan province following a 6.3-magnitude earthquake that struck the region earlier this week.
In a statement on Wednesday, the organization said its teams in Kunduz have so far treated 49 injured people, including six admitted for hospitalization and one spinal injury case transferred to the provincial hospital.
