Afghanistan, Jan. 31 -- Pakistan says coordinated militant attacks across Balochistan killed 10 security personnel and 37 militants, prompting emergency measures and heightened security operations.
Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said on Saturday that 10 security personnel and 37 militants were killed during clashes across several cities in Balochistan province.
Police said dozens of insurgents also attacked a prison, freeing more than 30 inmates, while separate assaults targeted police posts and security installations.
Pakistani media reported that telecommunications services were suspended in Quetta, Sibi, and Chaman following simultaneous attacks claimed by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
