Afghanistan, July 17 -- At least three were killed and seven injured after gunmen ambushed a passenger bus in Balochistan's Kalat region, officials confirmed.
A passenger bus traveling from Karachi to Quetta was ambushed in the Kalat district of Balochistan province, Pakistan, according to local media reports.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 16, and resulted in the deaths of three individuals, while at least seven others sustained injuries, as reported by Dawn newspaper.
Authorities say the condition of several injured passengers is critical, and the death toll could rise. Police have labeled the assault a "targeted terrorist attack" and launched an investigation.
