Afghanistan, Feb. 28 -- A Daesh affiliated member who is accused of being the mastermind behind deadly attacks in Nangarhar was arrested during an ANDSF operation.
Security officials told the media, that they arrested a Daesh IS-K in Jalalabad city on Saturday night.
National security officials say they arrested the terrorist in Jalalabad last night.
According to reports the identity of the Daesh mastermind has not been revealed, but he has reportedly been in charge of the financial resources to the group and was also involved in planning attacks in the region.
The Daesh member was arrested when he was planning new offensives in Nangarhar province, reports indicated.
