Afghanistan, Oct. 25 -- The World Health Organization (WHO) says the number of people infected with the coronavirus worldwide has set a new record in the past 24 hours.

According to the figures, 456,322 people have been infected with the Coronavirus worldwide in the past 24 hours.

Earlier, overnight 445,419 people had been recorded infected with the Coronavirus.

WHO reports the total number of people infected with the COVID-19 worldwide has risen to 42,055,863, while 1,141,567 people are reported dead due to this dangerous and life taking virus.

It is noteworthy that these are the only cumulative numbers released by the countries globally.
