Afghanistan, Feb. 6 -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan has announced that the country hosted the sixth meeting of special representatives from Central Asian countries and the European Union on Afghanistan yesterday.

In a statement issued on Thursday, February 6, the ministry stated that participants discussed Afghanistan's social, economic, and political situation, as well as policies of cooperation between Central Asia and the European Union regarding Afghanistan.

According to the statement, the meeting also focused on human rights in Afghanistan, particularly the rights of women and girls, and the security challenges the country is currently facing.
