Afghanistan, Jan. 16 -- Peace for Afghans means the end of the prolonged violence that has deeply affected their lives for decades - which is why the emphasis is on a ceasefire to create a conducive environment for Afghanistan Reconciliation and peace talks.

Hamdullah Mohib, Afghanistan's National Security Adviser, on Wednesday at the Raisina Dialogue multilateral conference in New Delhi, said, "peace in our country is a long overdue, and Afghans demand it more than anything else."
