Afghanistan, Nov. 29 -- Two people were injured in a shooting at a California shopping mall in San Jose, as state police investigate the incident and search for clues.

Police officials in California have confirmed a shooting incident that left two people injured. Authorities said the victims were discovered shortly after the attack and were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

CBS News reported on Saturday, 29 November, that the shooting took place inside the Westfield Valley Fair shopping center in west San Jose. The busy mall was partially evacuated as police secured the area.
