Afghanistan, Jan. 29 -- Hamish Falconer, the Deputy Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, has stated that he hosted a meeting on humanitarian aid for Afghanistan, with participation from officials of the World Food Programme (WFP)and the United Nations Population Fund (UNDP).
This British official wrote on X on Wednesday, January 29 that the UK remains firmly committed to the people of Afghanistan, particularly women and girls.
He said, "It was a pleasure to host World Food Programme and the United Nations Population Fund in Afghanistan yesterday and discuss the lifesaving UK-funded assistance they are providing to the people of Afghanistan. We stand firm in our commitment to the people of Afghanistan, especially women and girls."
