Afghanistan, Feb. 8 -- British media have reported that an Afghan-origin employee of British intelligence agencies and the Foreign Office of the country has been accused of spying for Russia.

The Times newspaper, published in Britain on Thursday, February 7, reported that the individual in question has traveled to Russia at least six times to establish contact, according to reports.

According to reports, he entered Britain in 2000 and received asylum based on the fact that he came directly from Afghanistan.

The Times report, without naming the Afghan-origin spy, added that he had met with the British monarch and Prince William during a trip to Afghanistan.
