Afghanistan, Aug. 20 -- Beijing, Islamabad, and Kabul's representatives met in Afghanistan, agreeing to expand security and economic cooperation, including extending the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor into Afghanistan for regional development.

The acting foreign minister of the Taliban, along with the foreign ministers of China and Pakistan, met in Kabul on Wednesday for the 6th Trilateral Foreign Ministers Dialogue, where they agreed to expand cooperation in political, economic, and security fields. A key outcome of the talks was an agreement to extend the multi-billion-dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to Afghanistan.
