Afghanistan, Dec. 15 -- Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese proposed tougher gun laws after the deadly Bondi Beach shooting, saying firearm licences must be strictly regulated and monitored.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said on Sunday his government would pursue tougher gun control measures after a mass shooting at Sydney's Bondi Beach killed at least 15 people and wounded dozens more.
Speaking to reporters, Albanese said proposed changes could include limiting the number of firearms a licensed owner can hold and tightening the conditions under which licences are granted and renewed.
