Afghanistan, July 26 -- At least eleven Baloch were killed in Iran's Isfahan province during a police ambush, raising concerns over systemic crackdowns and human rights abuses.

Independent Iranian media have reported that at least eleven Baloch citizens were killed following an ambush and clashes with Iranian security forces in Isfahan province.

According to reports, the victims-said to be from the Qanbarzehi tribe and residents of Zahedan-were targeted in a joint operation involving police units from Isfahan, South Khorasan, and Yazd provinces.

The Halvash news website, which mainly covers events in eastern Iran, stated that the incident occurred on Friday, July 25, during a coordinated security sweep.
