Afghanistan, Oct. 14 -- At least 42 people were killed and over 30 injured after a passenger bus overturned on a major highway in South Africa's Limpopo province.
At least 42 people were killed and more than 30 others injured after a passenger bus overturned in northern South Africa, local authorities said on Monday.
The bus, travelling along the N1 highway near the town of Makhado in Limpopo province, veered off the road and overturned on Sunday evening. Officials said most of the victims were women and children.
According to provincial police, the bus had departed from Gqeberha in Eastern Cape and was heading toward Zimbabwe and Malawi, carrying migrant workers and families visiting relatives.
