Afghanistan, Dec. 6 -- Eight Arab and Muslim-majority countries have expressed deep concern over Israel's reported unilateral plan to open the Rafah crossing and relocate Gaza civilians.

Arab states including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Qatar have issued a joint statement expressing deep concern over Israel's reported plan to unilaterally open the Rafah border crossing to facilitate the movement of Gaza residents into Egypt.

The statement warned against any attempt to forcibly displace Palestinians from their land, calling such actions a violation of international law and a dangerous step that could permanently alter the region's demographic and political landscape.
