The Afghanistan Journalists Center (AFJC), on the occasion of World Radio Day, announced that the restrictions imposed on audio media in Afghanistan are "unprecedented."
The center stated on Thursday, February 13 that in the past year, the offices of at least seven radio stations have been closed due to direct orders or restrictions imposed by the ruling administration of Taliban.
This statement was released by the Afghanistan Journalists Center on February 13, World Radio Day, which was officially recognized by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012, and since then, this day has been celebrated annually.
