Afghanistan, July 24 -- Afghanistan announced the planned deployment of 2,000 job seekers to Qatar, offering legal employment opportunities amid rising unemployment and returning refugees.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Taliban administration has announced that Qatar has allocated an additional 1,300 job opportunities for Afghan workers. In total, 2,000 Afghan laborers are set to be deployed to Qatar in the coming phases.

In a statement released on Wednesday, July 23, the ministry stated on its official X account that this marks the beginning of a broader program for the legal deployment of Afghan workers abroad. The number of job opportunities is expected to increase significantly in the future.
