Afghanistan, Sept. 17 -- The Ministry of Public Health on Thursday reported zero coronavirus deaths, while 17 new cases out of 265 samples tested were positive over the last 24 hours.
In total, 107,858 samples have been tested in government centers and there are 4,931 known active COVID-19 cases in the country, according to data from the Ministry of Public Health.
Meanwhile, the ministry reported two recoveries in the last 24 hours.
The number of total cases reached 38,872, total reported deaths is 1,436, and the total number of recoveries is 32,505.
By province, Kabul reported five, Daikundi three, Balkh seven, Laghman one and Nuristan once cases.
