Afghanistan, Oct. 24 -- Ministry of Public Health reported Tuesday, that out of 227 samples, 81 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 119,550 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 5,234 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 13 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and four individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Kabul are Six, Kandahar Four, Balkh 27, Takhar 23, Kunduz 11, Baghlan Seven, Kunar One, and Uruzgan Two.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 40,768, Total deaths are 1,511 and the total recoveries are recorded 34,023.
