Afghanistan, July 13 -- Bilateral trade between Afghanistan and Pakistan reached nearly $1 billion in the first half of 2025, signaling improved economic ties despite regional challenges.
Bilateral trade between Afghanistan and Pakistan has reached nearly $1 billion in the first six months of 2025, according to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce under Taliban administration. The total trade volume stood at $989 million, with $277 million attributed to Afghanistan exports and $712 million to imports from Pakistan.
