Afghanistan, June 29 -- Afghanistan-India bilateral trade reached USD 1 billion in 2024-25, reflecting growing economic ties, rising agricultural imports, and expanding commercial engagement.

India and Afghanistan have continued to maintain strong trade relations despite regional challenges. During the financial year 2024-25 (April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025), bilateral trade between the two countries reached a total value of USD 1.0087 billion.

According to data published by the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI Trade Portal), imports from Afghanistan amounted to USD 689.81 million, showing a 7.4% increase over the previous financial year.
