Afghanistan, Feb. 17 -- Afghanistan and Uzbekistan signed major trade agreements worth $300 million, including 25 trade deals.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce under the Taliban administration announced the signing of 25 trade agreements worth $300 million with neighboring Uzbekistan.

The agreements were signed during an Afghanistan-Uzbekistan business forum attended by Industry Minister Nuruddin Azizi and Surkhandarya regional governor Erkinjon Turdimov.

According to officials, the agreements cover sectors including construction, food products, agriculture, furniture production, textiles, and pharmaceutical cooperation between the two sides.
