Afghanistan, May 22 -- The Afghan Special Forces arrested six suspected militants during an operation which was conducted in Sarobi district, the military sources said Wednesday.

The suspected militants were arrested days after the anti-government armed militants carried out two separate attacks in Kabul city which claimed the lives of a number of police soldiers.

"An Afghan special forces raid in Sarobi district of Kabul resulted in 6 detainees," the informed military sources said.

This comes as a group of armed militants attacked a security post in the vicinity of 7th police district of Kabul city late on Sunday evening inflicting casualties on six policemen.
