Afghanistan, Oct. 24 -- Mir Rahman Rahmani, Speaker of the Afghan Parliament, met with Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Parliament Speaker, Mir Rahman Rahmani reportedly led a delegation to Islamabad on Friday, Oct 23rd.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the Afghan peace process and bilateral relations.
The parliament speaker is accompanied by some chairpersons of standing committees and other parliamentarians.
The key objectives of the visit are strengthening regional consensus on Kabul-Islamabad relations and Afghan peace, as well as building parliamentary ties between the two countries.
