Afghanistan, July 5 -- An Afghan migrant was fatally stabbed in the heart by Iranian attackers in Tehran, highlighting rising violence amid Iran's mass deportation campaign.

As Iran continues mass deportations of Afghan nationals, sources have confirmed the tragic killing of an Afghan asylum seeker in the Shahriar district of Tehran. The incident occurred two days ago.

The victim, identified as Najibullah Khaksar, was fatally stabbed in the chest while returning home from work.
