Afghanistan, Feb. 22 -- The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation announced that 91 Afghan prisoners were freed from Pakistan and returned to Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation stated that 91 Afghan citizens, who had been detained in Pakistan's prisons due to a lack of legal documents, were released and returned to Afghanistan via the Torkham border crossing.

According to a statement from the Ministry, these individuals had been imprisoned in Pakistan because of their undocumented status. However, following negotiations between Taliban and Pakistani officials, arrangements were made for their release.
