Afghanistan, Feb. 11 -- Hojat Sedighi, the public prosecutor of Taybad in Khorasan Razavi province, Iran, has announced that 250 undocumented Afghan migrants, who had been trapped in heavy snow and storms in the border regions, have been rescued and deported.
He stated on Monday February 10, that these Afghan migrants had attempted to enter Iran illegally.
The Iranian official emphasized that these migrants had suffered from frostbite, and after receiving medical treatment and undergoing legal procedures, they were sent back to Afghanistan.
