Afghanistan, April 27 -- The Afghan military in the South has confirmed that five militants were killed and two others were wounded during the operations led by 205th Atal Corps of the Afghan army in Kandahar province.

The 205th Atal Corps in a statement said, during the clearance operation by the 205th Corps in Miawand and Shah Wali Kot districts of Kandahar, 5 enemy gunmen were killed, two injured and one arrested by the security forces. Additionally, the 205th Corps seized a number of enemy weapons and explosives during this operation.
