Afghanistan, Sept. 16 -- The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock has announced that it has distributed 340 lactating goats to 170 families in Balkh province.
The press office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock stated today, that the Balkh Department of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Provincial Directorate of Refugees, the UN Office for Migration and Organization for Relief Development, provided 170 migrating families from Iran and Pakistan with lactating Goats.
According to the statement these families have settled in Qaleen Baafi City of Nahrshahi district, and were facilitated with 340 dairy goats and 68 metric tons of animal food.
