Afghanistan, Feb. 3 -- A car bomb explosion on a road in the city of Manbij, Syria, has resulted in the deaths of 14 women and one man. According to Syria's Civil Defense, the blast also left 15 women injured.

The victims were agricultural workers who were passing through the area at the time of the explosion.

This attack took place in Manbij, located 30 kilometers south of the Turkish border and west of the Euphrates River. No group has claimed responsibility for the bombing so far.

The explosion in Manbij is the second attack in the region within the past three days. On Saturday, another explosion in central Manbij killed four civilians and injured nine others, including children.
